Funeral services for Mrs. Juliana Werner were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home of her son, Fred, with Rev. J.R. Kalwitz officiating. Mrs. Werner passed away last week Wednesday morning at the Wood County Hospital at Marshfield. Death was caused by bronchitis and apoplexy. Interment took place in the Stetsonville Cemetery with Edward, Julius, Walter and Herbert Werner, and Louis Nuerenberger and Clarence Rauchfuss acting as pallbearers.
Juliana Weicht was born in Bodenback, Bohemia on Nov. 13, 1846 and was 86 years, 1 month and 1 day old at time of death. She grew to young womanhood in her home community and on Jan. 10, 1869 she was united in marriage to Joseph Werner. Three children were born to them, on son, Julius, who with his father preceded Mrs. Werner in death. Mr. Werner passed away March 21, 1901 and their son passed away Aug. 7, 1917. On March 19, 1885 the Werners arrived in this country and settled on a farm in the town of Little Black in Taylor Co., Wis., where they lived for many years.
Mrs. Werner leaves one daughter, Mrs. Ernestine Nuerenberger, town of Little Black, one son, Fred Werner, of this village (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.), twelve grandchildren and ?in great-grandchildren to mourn her loss.
The many friends of the Werners join us in offering deepest sympathy to the mourning ones in their dark hour.
